The kids who did not make it into the top 16 would be put into a development section, where they got to work on that event while the others competed. Everyone who participated in the events had to come to school dressed up in their house colours. Throughout the day, many people had arrived in their fun costumes and colourful clothing! The colours red, green, yellow and blue filled up the buses, stadium and the whole park in general. The field events these teams would compete in were shot put, discus, long jump and high jump. The track events were the 1500m run, 200m sprint, the 100m sprint and the 60m/80m sprint for the young ones. At the end of the day, there was also a relay for the house teams to compete in.
