Friday 11 November was the day of the Reremoana School Athletics day. Athletics day is when all the students from Reremoana School compete in field and track events to win robbins and try make unbreakable records. They all arrived at Lloyd Elsmore when everyone got there they got ready for their first event. They kicked off the day with the 1500m sprint for the 10,11,12 and 13 year olds at 9:45. Everyone who did the 1500m gave it their all and worked hard to finish the race.

At 10:05 the 12 year old girls had high jump Lelani got 1.30m for the win, Haylee cooper came 2nd with 1.28m. Well done to everyone who competed in high jump.
Everyone age group went to their next events and tried their hardest and their were quite a few records broken.
Near the end of the day everyone got ready for their 100 metre sprints.
The younger students started off the 100 metre sprints, they all went as fast as the all could go to get 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.
The RelayFor the 12 year old girls Johanri came 1st, Lelani 2nd, and Hayley Cooper came 3rd. They ended off the day with the relay, for the relay they got four students from each house (Rimu, Kauri, Totara, Kowhai) and
they sprint about 100 metres and pass the baton on to the next person in their house.
Over all Rimu came first, Totara came second, Kauri came third and Kowhai came fourth. Well done to everyone who went and tried their best and at the end of the day everyone had a great time with their teammates and all together as a team.
